Originally, the venue of SIFE was at the old Shenzhen International Exhibition Center with a total floor space of 8,000m2. It quickly outgrew that building to find space at the 42,000m2 China Hi-tech Fair Exhibition Center and to accommodate the quick expansion of SIFE, the show moved to the 160,000m2 Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center located in downtown Shenzhen. Plans for a 300,000m2 exhibition center near the Shenzhen International Airport are in progress and the Shenzhen government is very supportive of SIFE and its goals for future expansion. Twice a year, in March and August, SIFE opens its doors to visitors with each show lasting four days. The Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition has grown up quickly and continues it path towards being one of the most influential furniture fairs in Asia. |
